The 2022 Fall Benefit celebrated a year of growth with CMSS’s friends and network. The Benefit raised critical dollars to support our vital mission and the care we provide each day.

During the event, CMSS presented the Spirit Award to Dr. Neelum T. Aggarwal, a board-certified cognitive neurologist and professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center.  Dr. Aggarwal is a leader in community-based research, clinical trial participation, and public health initiatives. As the Chicago Physician Lead for Bringing Art to Life (BATL) and an advisor to Embodied Labs, Dr. Aggarwal has played a significant role in developing revolutionary programming and innovative technology that is utilized at CMSS and that informs adult care nationally. During the Fall Benefit program, two of Dr. Aggarwal’s students spoke about her impact and her work mentoring the next generation of medical experts.
