SASI Home Care helps seniors manage the tasks of everyday living while staying comfortable in their homes. We assist older adults so they can maintain independence while receiving the support they need. Our highly-trained caregivers offer hourly, overnight, or live-in home care for seniors who seek assistance with the challenges of aging, illness, injury, post-surgery recovery, or memory loss.

SASI caregivers (also called care partners) receive training beyond state license requirements, including in-person trainings in dementia care. We have a high care partner retention rate, meaning our team has significant experience and high job satisfaction. The SASI care team is managed by a Certified Dementia Practitioner who works onsite in offices in Evanston and Chicago. Unlike other home care agencies, SASI’s management team is local and can support care partners daily. As a non-profit provider, our rates are more affordable than those of for-profit home care agencies.
SASI provides licensed home care but does not offer home health services. Home health care generally refers to clinical or skilled care provided at home by a licensed nurse. Home care providers, on the other hand, assist with activities like personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, companionship, and transportation.
SASI works to accommodate older adults and their families across Chicagoland. While our work focuses on the following cities, towns, and neighborhoods, we are happy to consider clients outside of these locations as well. Contact us today for more information.
SASI does not accept Medicaid. We accept long-term care insurance and private pay.
SASI provides home care to any adult needing support; we specialize in elder care and memory care.

No. SASI is a program of Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS), a non-sectarian, non-profit organization. CMSS was founded in 1898 by a Methodist woman and her church. While the word Methodist still appears in our name, we are not a Methodist institution or otherwise religiously affiliated. We welcome clients, participants, residents, team members, and volunteers of all beliefs.
SASI was founded in 1975 as a non-profit home care agency in Evanston. In 2017, SASI and Senior Connections joined together to operate as one non-profit organization. In 2019, SASI and Senior Connections became part of CMSS’ array of programs and services.
SASI’s experienced team offers free, in-home assessments. We are happy to meet with older adults and their families to discuss how our home care services can meet your needs. Give us a call today at 847-864-7274.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CMSS relies on the generosity of friends and supporters to make our work possible.
