Across Chicagoland, CMSS provides an array of programs and services to help older adults thrive.
In the heart of Andersonville, we offer assisted living memory care and affordable senior housing. In the northern suburbs and across Chicago, we provide personalized home care and a friendly visitor volunteer program – Senior Connections. Our West Suburban Senior Center offers weekday activities and meals and an LGBT+ program.
As a non-profit organization, our mission is to support, improve, and enhance the quality of life for older adults of all faiths and backgrounds by empowering them to live with dignity and respect.
We are known as pioneers in person-centered senior care and services, and we continue to innovate to improve the lives of older adults. We provide needed resources, create opportunities for socializing and connecting, and meet the people we serve where they are – in their homes and communities.

Our Mission
Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) is a non-sectarian, non-profit organization providing a continuum of care and residences committed to empowering each person we serve to live their best life, while embracing the needs of a diverse and evolving community.
Our Vision
Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) will be a leader in building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. We will create a progressive model of care that will lead the next generation of services supporting older adults, while being recognized throughout our continuum of services as demonstrating excellence in memory care.

We meet the needs of the Individual – with the belief that life is precious at every stage, we respect and appreciate everyone we serve in fulfillment of our mission. Offering a variety of services and person-centered programming to meet the holistic needs of those we support.
We meet the needs of the Broader Community – For over a century, we have served the aging community, providing services to individuals from every income level. We believe that in a rapidly changing world, we must continuously endeavor to be agile to meet the evolving needs of our community by expanding and adapting our services.

As a non-profit organization, we serve our mission above all else. Improving the lives of people in our community and providing an environment that makes our staff love coming to work: these are our reasons for being, not shareholders or the bottom line.
Services for older adults sometimes cost more than what people can afford. We offer as many moderately priced programs, residences, and health care services as possible.
